One of the purposes of the SIG when it started in 1988 was to make singles more acceptable at various resorts. A lot of the members felt that we had gone about as far as we could go in that direction and we should now concentrate more on the social aspects.

In the past the SIG has held various events at the TNS Gatherings / Festivals and hopefully these events will continue.  We need volunteers willing to host some events, but because we do not have any money any costs will have to be borne by the volunteer.  However, many events like games or just socials can be held with no cost involved.

This new Single SIG is open to all single (unmarried) naturists. This group is not limited to members of The Naturist Society, but we encourage people to join.  There are no dues or other membership costs to join the Yahoo group. There are dues to join The Naturist Society.

All we ask it that you be single, interested in nudism, and willing to follow naturist etiquette. We are not a dating service so we ask that you refrain from posting personal ads looking for other people. Posting an announcement that you are going to be at a certain club or event and would like to have another person join you is fine, but just posting an ad along the lines of those that you find in dating services should be posted there not to our group.
