A general all-topic list for the naturist or would-be naturist at the Google Groups service. A Google membership / registration is not necessary to use this list. Anyone may read list messages.

Operates as a regular e-mail list server or as a web message board - your choice.

The Naturist Forum
Message Board

Please read the following instructions completely first.

Click the link below to access the forum sign-up page.
Register to use the forum with a user name of your choice and a valid E-mail address.
The forum will then send you an E-mail message with a confirmation link.
Now, go to your E-mail account, locate the forum confirmation message just sent, and click on the validation link inside the message.
This will take you back to the forum and report you are registered.
You are done! You are now registered to use the forum and can begin to view and post messages!
If you fail to click on the forum confirmation link to validate your E-mail address, you will not be able to use the message board. Forum registration applications that are not validated after 7 days are deleted. Users will have to re-apply if they do not respond to the confirmation link in 7 days.

Internet Spam Filters - Special Note to Subscribers: - Current spam levels being experienced across the Internet have resulted in many ISP services implementing broadly defined spam filters. Companies doing this include Yahoo.Com, MSN.Com, AOL.Com, Earthlink.Com and many others. If you subscribe to any of our lists and fail to get e-mail from them, please check your mail service's spam folder. Your list mail may wind up there. In such a case you will need to "white list" (instruct the filter to allow) the "sunclad.com" or "googlegroups.com" domain or the list's full e-mail address in order to get messages.

Users of our web-based message board can set the system to send you a notification when you receive a reply to a posted message, or when certain areas receive postings to interact with. Spam filters may also block these notifications. We cannot adjust these for you. It is a function of your internet access service or other e-mail service. White listing the "sunclad.com" domain is the only known fix.

Please Note:- If you employ a 3rd party spam elimination service, or a mail service that issues a challenge/confirmation message to assure that our mail is coming from a legitimate party, you may have to either set that filter to accept list mail in advance or ask the list master to manually add you to our list(s). We cannot reply to blind mail confirmation messages from services that fail to tell us who the end recipient is in the event it is a spammer.

Privacy Policy: - Simply put, any E-mail address used for our Lists or Message Board are not used by Sunclad.Com for any solicitation purposes. They remain confidential with us. Occasionally we may notify you of access problems outside of the message board or list server as a courtesy to your continued usage.

Please note that registered users of our web-based message board can see a list of users, one at a time and may be able to view your E-mail address. Registered users can also send you E-mail from within the message board. If anyone experiences any abuses of this option, please send us a copy of the offending message and address that it came from so we can take appropriate action. The message board requires a valid e-mail address and clicking on a subscription completion link as a way of deterring spammers. So far this has been successful at deterring spammers and would-be problem users.

Mailbox Full - Unable to Deliver: - We understand that sometimes people may not be frequent users of e-mail, but a subscription to an e-mail list server presumes that you are getting e-mail at least daily or with some other frequency. If you subscribe to one of our services and allow your mail box to fill up to the point that it can no longer get messages from our list, or notifications (if set to deliver) from the web message board, we get a returned mail flag for each message posted. We are willing to allow this to happen maybe 1-2 days in a row but after a period of time it is just too much unnecessary work for us on this end. As such any dead e-mail address or address that has a full mail box or where mail is otherwise undeliverable is subject to removal from our list servers or message board. You are always welcome to resubscribe when you clear your mail box. It's your responsibility to see that your mail box is clear to receive messages that you have requested from our list or message board.

List Mail goes to my HOTMAIL Junk Folder, or is not received at all: - We uncovered a nasty problem with Hotmail associated with their spam filters and their system in general. If you want to get message board mail from Sunclad.com or from the Google Group you need to make the following adjustments in your Hotmail account:

Locate the "Options" link (usually toward the upper-right of the screen.

In the Options screen, select the "Mail" link on the left-side navigation bar.

In the Mail screen select "Junk E-Mail Protection"

In the next screen select "Junk E-Mail Filter"
Set this to "Enhanced" (medium level), thek click OK.
(You may want to experiment with changing this to a higher level after you are sure list mail is being received)

Return back to the "Junk E-Mail Protection" Screen.

Select "Safe List"
In the insertion space enter "sunclad.com" (no quotes), then click "ADD".
Or enter "googlegroups.com" (no quotes), then click "ADD".

Return back to the "Junk E-Mail Protection" Screen.

Select "Mailing Lists"
In this screen enter the delivery address of the message board, "webmaster@sunclad.com"
Or enter the delivery address of the Google Group, "naturists@googlegroups.com"

You should be done now and can back out of these settings areas.

Hotmail's aggressive anti-spam filters may need these settings to assure that list mail and message board notifications are received and placed in your IN BOX or what ever folder you may have defined for such mail. If you do not perform these changes we cannot guarantee that list mail o rmessage board notifications will be received. After identifying this delivery problem with Hotmail we set up a test account and resolved the problems with the above settings.

Note that performing similar efforts in other service's junk mail filters should produce similar results for you, however since we do not have AOL, Yahoo, Earthlink, etc. we cannot offer specifics. We believe that their setting requirements will be similar and need to be explored by you individually.
