About us (Our Philosophy)
Dyer Woods is a private nudist campground located on an old farm consisting of 200 acres of meadows and woodland with many clearings and a network of roads and paths. A country setting with hills and valleys typical of western Rhode Island. It is a simple outdoor type organization.
Sites are available on an annual basis for tents and campers up to 35 feet long. Sites are available with electric and water hookups for visitors. Entrance is through a farm yard and a key card operated gate. Communication system instructions are posted at the gate. Off season, off hours, and weekday visits by appointment.
Dyer Woods is a family-oriented campground. Persons unaccompanied by a member of the opposite gender are encouraged to call ahead to arrange an appointment as we like to maintain a male-female balance when possible.
Club rules are posted on the bulletin board and are based on common sense and decency toward others. The rules are no different than a comparable non-nudist activity would be. Conduct likewise is no different than a non-nudist organization.
Parents are responsible for and must at all times maintain supervision over their children so they do not annoy others, damage property, or injure themselves or others. Management assumes no responsibility for personal property damage, loss of property, or personal injury. It is the responsibility of the parents to supervise their children and satisfy themselves as to the condition and safety of all equipment and all aspects of the grounds. It is understood that the use of a jump rope, slide, or diving board can result in injury, indemnity for such injury must be borne by the parents concerned.
The recreation equipment and facilities are a joint effort of and for the nudist community. If someone sees you littering, they will quite probably inform you of the fact that we would rather not have you here than have you make a mess of the landscape.
Dogs are allowed at Dyer Woods. Please check with the office for details and/or restrictions.
NO CAMERAS ALLOWED.
